Tu-16 Delta Badger by PaintFan08 Tu-16 Delta Badger by PaintFan08
Delta Winged Tu-16

This is an AH version of the Tu-16 Badger. Inspired by Kurarun and his aircraft, this Badger is a delta winged aircraft like the OTL British Avro Vulcan. Originally it was the first successful Soviet jet powered nuclear bomber.

Like the historical Badger, this one sees a long service life with the Soviet Union and its air forces. Many are built or modified as Badger C models designed to carry anti-shipping missiles against Allied ships and especially American carrier groups. It is widely exported to allies of the USSR like Iraq and Egypt.

Many were also converted to tanker units which with modifications continue to serve in the modern Russian Air Force and Naval Aviation regiments.

Cool new wing type. I assume it has fly-by wire.

Since its a 1960s aircraft it would probably use whatever the British Vulcan bomber used. Fly by wire seems a bit too advance for the Soviets at the time. Thanks for the Feedback!
